We had to manage all the digital campaigns for the producer: buy domain, develop website, graphics, texts, SEO, Google Ads, Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). We used Big Data tools to identify the consumers’ intentions around musicals, Notre Dame de Paris, and around the theatre where it took place… We use data for content and data for SEO. Then we used our “secret sauce” in writing articles that rank in Google, just with quality content and no links. From a new domain, we ranked the site for 3 550 keywords in 6 months (10% on page 1), on a competitive market.
We used Big data tools (there are many on the market), to understand customers’ intents. We don’t work from personas, but from intentions. We search for data, we clean it, we sort it and then we analyse to detect Blue Ocean opportunities. Then we have our own methodology to use data for writing articles that rank.
Producer knows nothing in digital: we had to gain his trust. It was a new domain with no history for Google. We had to make it technically perfect.
Hard competition: we used data to find blue ocean niches.
Time pressure: if the show is planned from 1st to 15th of November, it has to be full in the 1st of November, not the 5th. We used Google Ads with limits at the beginning because acquisition cost was too expensive.
