Strong content and strong keyword analysis – the combination of these two makes up a great SEO campaign. Both Christopher and Summer consider these as key defining factors of a good SEO program. But how would you incorporate such techniques altogether?

Summer: SEO & PPC campaign for local Doctor
Christopher: Website editor to SEO Specialist – Onsite Manager
WHAT YOU DID
Summer: We performed in-depth KW analysis for both organic and paid KWs. Also, we incorporated on-page techniques for both organic (for spiders), paid for quality score, and reached out to relevant websites to encourage links.
Christopher: Consistently good onsite principles and working closely with offsite contributors.
Summer: SEMRush. Google Keywords Planner and Search Console along with GA
Christopher: Screaming Frog (site meta data), Ahrefs, (link profiles), Siteliner (content duplication & broken links), Search Console (rankings, CTR), SEMRush and LSI Graph (keyword research).
Summer: Tight budget playing against some heavy hitters with big pockets. We targeted more of the low hanging fruit at first to build the clients rankings in the SERPS as well as really focusing on local search by building the Google business page heavily.
Christopher: Coding and carrying out quality onsites regardless of the CMS. It was overcome with help from my team and learning more about php coding. Also, ranking difficult niches which was overcome by better link building strategies.
Summer: Very good success rate. We have surpassed most of the competition not just in local KWs but even in more broad searches for people within the metro area. We are in the top 3 for most of our targeted KWs
Christopher: In my time as an SEO specialist and content expert, I am able to offer a holistic approach to SEO with not only the onsite in mind but the offsite and content also covered.
Don’t over think it and don’t “cheat” (i.e. paid links, followers, etc).
When working under certain structures, it can be hard to cover all areas so delivering the best results can be a challenge. I would have pushed harder to give each of my clients more attention and better long term strategic insights.
