Working on a brand new business with a brand new website is a challenge – zero links, no online presence at all, and is practically a novice at everything. But what if you can bring that brand new site into the top, how overwhelming could that be? John shares how he made that possible.
We did work for a Dentist Practice in a medium-sized city in the Northeast United States.
WHAT YOU DID
When this particular company came to us, they did not have much in way of SEO done. They haven’t ever done On-page or Off-Page SEO. We set them up with Google my business, Local Business Schema, Location Pages, and fresh new content for each location and service they offer.
We used a combination of several tools: SEMRush and ScreamingFrog to show all technical issues and SEMRush to check for any toxic links, MOZ to determine exactly which keywords we could target that provided the best value for the client.
They were a brand new business so basically, we were starting from scratch for this client. They had zero links pointing to their site so it took a few months before they have really seen some major traction.
We have gained several top 10 positions for the client, from very low organic visits to 30-40 visits a day organically and a growing business thriving in the dentist practice.
My advice to SEO professionals is make sure all citations have consistent NAP data, a well written Meta title and description, with a blog that posts 3-4 times each week. In my opinion, posting at the same exact time, every week helps show Google you are a consistent source for whatever industry you may be in.
